Richter hernia, foreign body in the appendix and inguinal abscess: very rare combination

 

Richter hernia in children is a rare pathology. 2-year-old girl suffered from inguinal conglomerated lymhpadenopathy and abscess during 2 months. The case was investigated by direct radiograhy and pelvic CT. They showed that a foreign body in the inguinal canal and soft tissue inflammation. Richter hernia and a pen cap in the appendix was found during exploration. This case was presented for its rarety and its different findings.

Richter fıtığı çocuklarda nadirdir. İki yaşında kız hastada  2 aydan beri kasıkta konglemere lenf büyümeleri ve apse vardı.  Olgu direk grafi ve BT ile incelendi. İncelemelerde İngunal kanalda yabancı cisim ve yumuşak doku enflamasyonu gözlendi. Richter hernisi ve apendix içinde kalem kapağı bulundu.  Olgu nadir görülmesi ve farklı bulgular içerdiği için sunuldu.
