LAPAROSCOPIC PYLOROMYOTOMY WITH MINIMAL SCAR IN A NEONATE (VIDEO PRESENTATION)

A three-week-old boy neonate was admitted with projectile vomiting. Infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis was diagnosed after physical examination and ultrasonography. Laparoscopic pyloromyotomy was performed successfully by using three thin trocars. Postoperative scar was minimal. The patient has been followed for 6 months postoperatively with no problem. The aim of the video presentation is to show the feasibility of minimal invasive and scarless surgery in the treatment of infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis by representing the surgical techniques of this case.

Postoperatif yara izi minimaldi. Hastanın postoperatif 6 aylık takibinde bir problemle karşılaşılmadı. Bu video sunumunun amacı bu olgudaki cerrahi teknik detayları göstererek infantil hipertrofik pilor stenozu tedavisinde minimal invaziv ve izsiz cerrahinin uygulanabilirliliğini göstermektir.
