Ileal stenosis due to necrotising enterocolitis: case report

Introduction: We reported a patient with ileal stenosis and perforation due to necrotising enterocolitis

Case: A patient with bilious vomiting, disable to full enteral feeding,and distantion for two days was examined.   Her weight was 1000 gram, and was 47 days old.Peroperatively ileal stenosis and perforation was seen in 50 cm proximal to ileocaecal valv, resection and anastamosis was done. Postoperative recovery was uneventful

 Conclusion: Necrotising Enterocolitis is the most surgical emergency due to gastrointestinal system in infants in neonatal intensive care units. Intestinal stricture and stenosis are the most complications

Nekrotizan enterokolit sonrası ileal stenoz:olgu sunumu

Amaç: Nekrotizan enterokolit sonucu gelişen ileal stenozlu prematüre hastayı değerlendirmek

Olgu: Konya Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde 32 yaşındaki annenin 4. Gebeliğinden 2. Yaşayan 27 haftalık 1000 gram bebek 47. gününde full enteral beslenmeye geçememe, son iki gündür mevcut olan safralı kusma ve distansiyon şikayetiyle değerlendirildi. İleus nedeniyle opere edilen hastada ileoçekal valvden 50 cm proksimalde 1 cm’lik stenotik segment ve proksimalinmde perforasyon saptandı. Rezeksiyon- anastamoz yapıldı. İyileşmede sıkıntı olmadı.

Sonuç: Nekrotizan Enterokolit yenidoğan yoğun bakım birimlerinde tedavi gören infantlarda gastrointestinal sistem kaynaklı en yaygın cerrahi acilleri oluşturmaktadır. İntestinal striktür ve stenozlar en sık görülen komlikasyonlardır
