The planning of concept maps are  diagrams which can be used at all level of education system from pre-school to university as a concept of  teaching and assessment tool and also helps to  see the sub-concept of the concept and the relationship between concepts as hierarchy The concept maps which is a visual representation of the key terms which are derived by  the learned subjects provides to learn new informations while using old informations  to nurses. By providing a framework, it leads the students for details’ place and shows the new informations’ places within the old informations and also guide  the student for drawing these informations’  boundaries.The care plans  which is formed as a bridge  between theory and practice in the form of a concept maps  make the students understand easier  of the patient's medical condition, disease response and facilitates of the relationship between nursing interventions.

Five years ago,14-year-old child patient who was administer treatment with  thoracotomy, kisterektomi and also drug treatment  due to lung cysts , as a result not following  the regimen treatment and not going  to controls  this patient came to control because of swelling in his abdomen a month ago.The Patinet’s  CT and  liver hydatid cyst was in concordant and liver resection (3/4) was applied.In this presentation,followed to the patient's in the  post-op period  nursing care management will be discussed with the concept maps.

Kavram haritaları planlama, öğretim ve değerlendirme aracı olarak okul öncesinden üniversiteye kadar eğitimin her kademesinde kullanılabilen, bir kavramın alt kavramları ve kavramlar arasındaki ilişkileri hiyerarşik olarak görmeye yardım eden bir şemadır. Öğrenilen konulardan türetilen anahtar terimler arasındaki ilişkinin görsel bir sunumu olan kavram haritası,  hemşirelerin yeni bilgileri öğrenirken eski bilgilerini de kullanmalarını, dolayısı ile anlamlı öğrenmeyi sağlamaktadır. Öğrenciye temel bir çerçeve sağlayarak ayrıntıyı nereye yerleştireceğine yol gösterir öğreneceği yeni kavramın daha önce öğrenmiş olduğu kavramlar arasındaki yerini görmesine, sınırlarını çizmesine rehberlik eder. Teori ile uygulama arasında köprü oluşturan kavram haritası şeklinde hazırlanmış bakım planları, öğrencilerin hastanın tıbbi durumu,  hastalığa tepkisi ve hemşirelik girişimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi anlamalarını kolaylaştırmaktadır.

Beş yıl önce akciğer kisti nedeniyle sağ torakotomi ile kisterektomi yapılan ve ilaç tedavisi verilen 14 yaşındaki hastamız, tedavi rejimine uymaması ve kontrollere gitmesi sonucu bir ay önce karında şişlik nedeniyle kontrole gelmiştir. Hastanın BT’si karaciğer kist hidatikle uyumlu bulunmuş ve karaciğer rezeksiyonu (3/4) yapılmıştır. Bu sunumda, post-op dönemde izlenen hastanın hemşirelik bakım yönetimi kavram haritasıyla tarşılacaktır.
