Nurses are a professional group that deals with the individual with his/her biological, psychological, social and environment
and is in constant interaction with the healthy/sick individual in healthcare institutions.
Therefore, they have the most important role in health education related activities.
In line with this role, the activities of nurses related to health education;It can be considered in three groups as Health Promotion,
Maintenance and Protection from Diseases (Primary Care), Regaining Health (Secondary Care), Rehabilitation (Tertiary Care).
The fact that education is among the basic roles of the nurse has led to the preparation of relevant standards especially in developed western countries such as the USA and England.
These standards are; summarized as institution, training process and equipment.

Institution-Related Standards address the educational organization and planning of the institution.
People, tools, etc. resources and management. Education of the individual/family is included in the philosophy, goals and objectives of the health care organization.
In the health care institution, the education of the individual/family is integrated with care in all nursing practice areas and the nursing department/director
of the health care institution actively participates in the comprehensive planning of the education of the individual/family and assumes responsibility.
Nursing department/responsible nurse facilitates the education of the individual/family, supports and undertakes cooperation. Subheadings are included.

In this context, a form was created in accordance with the procedures-protocols of the institution so that the stoma patient/family discharge training planning can be evidence-based as the pediatric surgery service nurse and nurses of Hacettepe University ihsan chopmacı children's hospital.

With this form, the participation of families in stoma care and the effectiveness of care were evaluated with the indicator follow-up chart.

Hacettepe Üniversitesi İhsan Doğramacı Çocuk Hastanesi Çocuk Cerrahisi Servisi

Hemşireler, sağlık hizmeti veren kuruluşlarda bireyi biyolojik , psikolojik, sosyal ve çevresi ile birlikte ele alan, sağlıklı/hasta bireyle sürekli etkileşim içinde olan profesyonel bir gruptur. Bu nedenle, sağlık eğitimiyle ilgili etkinliklerde en önemli role sahiptirler. Bu rolü doğrultusunda hemşirelerin sağlık eğitimiyle ilgili etkinlikleri ;Sağlığın Geliştirilmesi, Sürdürülmesi ve Hastalıklardan Koruma (Primer Bakım), Sağlığı Yeniden Kazanma (Sekonder Bakım), Rehabilitasyon (Tersiyer Bakım) olmak üzere üç grup içinde ele alınabilir.

Hemşirenin temel rolleri arasında eğitimin yer alması özellikle ABD, İngiltere gibi gelişmiş batı ülkelerinde ilgili standartların hazırlanmasına neden olmuştur. Bu standartlar; kurum, eğitim süreci ve araç-gereç açısından ana hatlarıyla özetlenmiştir

Kurumla İlgili Standartlar, kurumun eğitimle ilgili organizasyonuna ve planlamaya yöneliktir. İnsan, araç-gereç vb. kaynakları ve yönetimi kapsar.

Sağlık bakım kuruluşunun felsefesi, amaç ve hedeflerinde bireyin/ailenin eğitimi yer alır. Sağlık bakım kuruluşunda, bireyin/ailenin eğitimi hemşirelik uygulama alanlarının tümünde bakımla bütünleşmiş olarak yer alır ve Sağlık bakım kuruluşunun hemşirelik bölümü/müdürlüğü, bireyin/ailenin eğitiminin kapsamlı şekilde planlanmasına etkin olarak katılır, sorumluluk üstlenir. Hemşirelik bölümü/sorumlu hemşire, bireyin/ailenin eğitimini kolaylaştırır, destekler, işbirliğini üstlenir, alt başılkarına yer verilmiştir.

Bu kapsamda Hacettepe üniversitesi ihssan doğramacı çocuk hastanesi çocuk cerrahi servis sorumlu hemşiresi ve hemşireleri olarak stomalı hasta/ aile taburculuk eğitimi planmasının kanıta dayalı olabilmesi için kurum prosedür-protokollerine uygun olarak form oluşturulmuştur.

Bu form ile ailelerin stoma bakımına katılımları ve bakımın etkinliği indikatör takip çizelgesi ile değerlendirilmiştir.
