Introduction: We reported a complication of an ureteral cathater that was used during pyeloplasty

Case: Right pyeloplasty was done to a 7 year old boy with ureteropelvic junction obstruction. Postoperatively feeding cathater was breaked off which was used in anastamosis region. Feeding cathater that was migrated to left ureter was removed by  cystoscopy.

Conclusion: Ureteral cathater complications have varried from minör side effects such as hematuria, dysuria, flank and suprapubik pain. Migration into opposite ureter is rare complication and it must be kept in mind.

Amaç: Pyleoplasti sırasında kullanılan üreter kataterlerine bağlı nadiren gelişen bir komplikasyonu sunmak

Olgu: Sağ ureteropelvik bileşke darlığı nedeniyle pyeloplasti yapılan 7 yaşında erkek olguya peroperatif anastamoz hattına yerleştirilen feeding kataterin kopması sonucu sistoskopi planlandı. Sol üretere migrasyonu gözlenen katater çekildi.

Sonuç: Üreter katater komplikasyonları olarak genelde hematuri, disüri, flank veya suprapubik ağrı görülür. Migrasyon genelde mesaneye görülür. Karşı üretere migrasyon çok nadir görülen bir komplikasyon olarak akılda tutulmalıdır.
