Introduction: One of the most common diseases in pediatric surgery practice is intussusception. In terms of localization, invaginations can occur anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract below the cardia. In this study, it was aimed to present a case of intussusception in the duodenal region.

Case: An 8-year-old male patient, who was operated for duodenal duplication cyst 10 days ago, was admitted to the emergency department with complaints of abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. After examination and tests, duodenal segment invagination was detected. The patient was operated and manually reduced. He was discharged on the 5th post op day.

Conclusion: Duodenuduodenal or duodenojejunal intussusception is rarely seen, since most of the duodenum is retroperitoneal and fixed to the surrounding tissues. In the patient's duodenum, which became mobile during the operation; Post-operative adhesions, edema, and the suture line probably acted as lead points for intussusception.

Giriş: Çocuk cerrahisi pratiğinde en sık karşılaşılan hastalıklardan biri invajinasyondur. Lokalizasyon açısından invajinasyonlar, kardia altındaki gastrointestinal sistemin herhangi bir yerinde meydana gelebilir. Bu çalışmada duodenal bölgede kendini gösteren invajinasyon olgusunun sunulması amaçlandı.

Olgu: 10 gün önce tarafımızca duodenal duplikasyon kisti nedeniyle opere olan 8 yaşında erkek hasta acil servise karın ağrısı, bulantı ve kusma şikayetleri ile başvurdu. Yapılan muayene ve tetkikler sonrasında duodenal segmente invajinasyon tespit edildi. Hasta operasyona alındı ve manuel redükte edildi. Post op 5.günde taburcu edildi.

Sonuç: Duodenumun büyük bir bölümünün retroperitoneal olması ve çevre dokulara fikse olması nedeniyle duodenuduodenal yada duodenojejunal invajinasyon nadiren görülür. Hastanın operasyon sırasında mobil hale gelen duodenumda; post-operativ adhezyonlar, ödem ve sütür hattı invajinasyon için muhtemelen lead point görevi görmüştür.
