Purpose: Laparoscopic transperitoneal partial nephrectomy is a commonly used procedure in children with the indication of duplicated collective system anomalies. The purpose of this video presentation is to show the technical details of this procedure and to outline the applicability of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy.

Cases: Two male patients, who had recurrent urinary tract infections with ages of 5 months and 6 years, respectively were diagnosed with left duplicated collective system, afunctional upper pole. After cystoscopy, laparoscopic left upper pole partial nephrectomy and uretherectomy was performed. The operative times for these procedures were 85- 120 minutes, respectively. There was no intraoperative and postoperative complication detected.

Conclusion: In the treatment of duplicated collective system and afunctional pole, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy seems to be a less invasive procedure compared with the other treatment options. In patients who had precise indications, it is an applicable procedure with the experienced surgeons. 

Amaç: Laparoskopik transperitoneal parsiyel nefrektomi çocuklarda sıklıkla çift toplayıcı sistem anomalisi endikasyonu ile uygulanır. Bu videoda ameliyatın teknik detaylarının gösterilmesi ve laparoskopik parsiyel nefrektominin uygunluğunun sunulması amaçlandı.

Olgular: Tekrarlayan idrar yolu enfeksiyonu olan 5 aylık ve 6 yaşındaki iki erkek çocuğa sol çift toplayıcı sistem, afonksiyone üst pol tanısı konuldu. Sistoskopi sonrasında laparoskopik sol üst pol parsiyel nefrektomi ve üreterektomi uygulanan hastaların ameliyat süresi sırası ile 85-120 dakika idi. Ameliyat sırasında ve sonrasında komplikasyon gelişmedi.

Sonuç: Çift toplayıcı sistem ve afonksiyone pol tedavisinde laparoskopik parsiyel nefrektominin diğer tedavi seçenekleriyle karşılaştırıldığında daha az invaziv bir tedavi yaklaşımı olduğu düşünülmektedir.  Endikasyonu doğru olarak konmuş hastalarda deneyimli cerrahlar tarafından uygulanabilir bir yöntemdir.
