Objective:Exploring the application of autologous kidney transplantation technology in pediatric urology

Methods:Retrospective analysis of three cases of pediatric autologous kidney transplantation conducted by the Department of Urology, Affiliated Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from September 2017 to February 2023, including demographic data, etiology, surgical methods, complications, etc

Results:Case1,male,13Y4M,old left ureter rupture and long segment defect caused by car accident trauma, openaccess+transplantation, intraoperative hemorrhage of 200ml,postoperative hydronephrosis and good renal function were observed .Case2,female,9Y7M,right renal artery stenosis, refractory hypertension, laparoscopic access+open transplantation, intraoperative hemorrhage of 30ml,antihypertensive drugs stopped 1year after surgery, renal function was normal; Case3,male,13Y11M,hypertension,left renal arteryhilaraneurysm(2.0cm),open access+vascular reconstruction+transplantation, intraoperative hemorrhage of 50ml,post operative oral amlodipine blood pressure was basically normal, postoperative CTA indicated arterial anastomosispatency, poor perfusion in a few areas of the kidney, and normal renalfunction.

Conclusion:Autologous kidney transplantation can be safely used for pediatric long segment ureteral defects, renal vascular lesions, etc. Patients with renal vascular lesions should pay attention to hypertension, renal infarction, and other conditions. There are relatively few specialized hospitals for children, and more experience needs to be accumulated
