A 9 year-old female patient with miasthenia gravis who underwent a thoracoscopic thymectomy in our institution is presented. Thymectomy was performed via right thoracoscopy using 4 trocars and a 30 degree telescope. The thymic vessels were sealed and divided by Ligasure and harmonic scalpel. The whole thymic tissue was resected en bloc. The postoperative period was uneventful. 

Timektomi,  miyasteni gravis (MG) tedavisinde tıbbi tedaviye ek olarak uygulanan bir yöntemidir. Bu çalışmada kliniğimizde torakoskopik timektomi uygulanan bir olgu sunulmuştur.

9 yaşında kız olgu, MG nedeniyle asetilkolinesteraz inhibitörü ve steroid tedavisi altındayken, miyastenik kriz geçirmesi nedeniyle torakoskopik cerrahi planlanmıştır. 4 adet port ve 30 derece 5 mm torakoskop kullanılarak sağ torakoskopik yaklaşımla timektomi uygulanmıştır. Postop dönemde hastada herhangi bir sorun yaşanmamıştır.
